MHFA is an in-person 8-hour certification course designed to teach skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. Under the EVALE Initiative, this course specifically addresses the relevance of mental health to adults, military, and law enforcement cultures.

Mental Health is for everyone.

Mental Health First Aid teaches strategies for employers, police officers, hospital staff, first responders, veterans, educators, healthcare providers, and caring individuals to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health or substance use challenges and offer support.
